Job summary

ARRCS in Alice Springs is seeking a People & Culture / International Workforce & Welfare Officer on a permanent, full-time basis. You will manage onboarding and compliance for Alice Springs and Central Australia, respond to HR queries, and deliver our Day 1 orientation.

The role also supports international employment under PALM, including travel logistics and ongoing staff welfare. The ideal candidate has a background in generalist HR or senior administration, is highly organized, proficient

Qualifications

Generalist HR duties or senior administration experience.
Onboarding, compliance and HR matter advisory experience.
Grievances and disputes advisory ability with Fair Work awareness.
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel to remote NT locations, including overnights.
Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

Manage onboarding and compliance for Alice Springs and Central Australia.
Respond to daily HR queries and deliver Day 1 orientation.
Support international employment, PALM scheme coordination, and relocation logistics.
Provide ongoing welfare support to staff and liaise with stakeholders.
Assist with policy adherence and record-keeping in HR systems.
