Job summary

Purple House in Alice Springs is seeking a Recruitment Generalist to oversee end-to-end recruitment, support hiring managers, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

You will advise on policies and the Enterprise Agreement, maintain HRIS data accuracy, and promote cultural safety across staff and stakeholders. This full-time role offers a competitive salary, 12% super, generous salary packaging, relocation assistance, and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years demonstrated experience in Recruitment or Human Resources.
• Experience coordinating recruitment activities or projects with flexibility and initiative.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• High level written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate across cultures with stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in a cross-cultural environment.
• Satisfactory police clearance.
• Valid C Class driver's license.
• Legal right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests to hire, ensure up-to-date position details before posting.
• Review and update job advertisements to attract quality candidates.
• Provide end-to-end recruitment support for candidates and stakeholders.
• Contribute to recruitment strategies to onboard the best candidates.
• Screen candidates to ensure cultural safety and appropriate hires.
• Advise on position descriptions and Enterprise Agreement compliance.
• Advise managers on best-practice recruitment processes.
• Ensure policy compliance and maintain alignment with Enterprise Agreement.
• Prepare offers accurately and ensure staff documentation is compliant.
• Update HRIS data and support recruitment process improvements.
• Provide general administrative support in Recruitment and HR processes.
• Promote a safe work environment and adhere to WHS guidelines.
