Job summary

Cummins Australia is offering a 13-month HR internship at the Perth office for an undergraduate HR student. It can be full time or part time, starting 27 January 2027, with exposure to Employee Benefits and Global OnBoarding across the South Pacific, SE Asia and the US.

You’ll support onboarding logistics, benefits administration, and maintain knowledge articles while gaining policy knowledge in a paid placement and deferring your studies for the duration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Available for full 13 months and willing to defer studies.
• Undergraduate HR student with remaining coursework in Jan 2027.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with new employees and managers for global onboarding logistics.
• Coordinate engagement activities across countries and vendors.
• Support insurance and benefit contract renewal processes.
• Maintain benefits information portal and knowledge articles.
• Gain policy and process knowledge relating to benefits and wellness.
