Job summary

Waratah Recruitment Partners client, a global equity investment manager, seeks a Fund Operations Associate based in Sydney CBD to support operations across funds domiciled in multiple jurisdictions. You will work alongside the Fund Operations Manager and Head of Operations and Finance.

Responsibilities include unit registry oversight, monthly reporting, fee reviews, market monitoring and regulatory support, plus maintenance of fund information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• Experience in fund administration, fund accounting, or investment operations is desirable but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in working with AI tools.
• A genuine interest in building a long-term career in fund operations.

Responsibilities

• Unit registry oversight.
• Monthly reporting to investors, consultants, platforms and research houses.
• Management fee reviews and rebate administration.
• Daily market monitoring and disclosures.
• Wholesale certificate register updates.
• Driving process and risk improvements across the fund operations functions.
• Support year-end process and regulatory reporting.
• Maintenance of policy and procedures.
• Preparation of monthly reports for distribution to investors.
• Maintenance of the website with updated fund information.
• Preparing competitor analysis reports.
