Our client in Sydney is seeking a Fund Operations Associate to support operations across Australian, Cayman Islands and UK funds. Based in the Sydney CBD office, you will work with the Fund Operations Manager and Head of Operations to deliver critical fund administration tasks.

Key duties include unit registry oversight, monthly investor reporting, fee reviews, ASX monitoring, investor queries, and risk improvements. A strong foundation in finance and an eye for detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Fund Operations 80%: unit registry oversight, monthly investor reporting, management fee reviews, daily ASX monitoring, investor queries, risk improvements, year-end processing, and policy maintenance.
• Business Development Assistance 20%: monthly report preparation, website updates, competitor analysis, and ad-hoc support for the distribution team.

They are seeking a Fund Operations Associate to support operations across the Australian, Cayman Islands and UK funds. This role is full-time and based in the Sydney CBD office. You will be working alongside the Fund Operations Manager and Head of Operations and Finance, and play a key role in supporting business critical activities.

Fund Operations - 80%

• Unit registry oversight
• Monthly reporting to investors, consultants, platforms and research houses
• Management fee reviews and rebate administration
• Daily ASX monitoring and disclosures
• Wholesale certificate register updates
• Responding to investor queries
• Driving process and risk improvements across the fund operations functions
• Office administration support
• Support year end process and regulatory reporting
• Maintenance of policy and procedures

Business Development Assistance - 20%

• Managing printing and postage of annual letter mailout
• Preparation of monthly reports for distribution to investors
• Maintenance of the website with updated fund information
• Preparing competitor analysis reports
• Supporting the distribution team with ad-hoc requests

Key skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• Experience in fund administration, fund accounting, or investment operations is desirable but not essential
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in working with AI tools
• A genuine interest in building a long-term career in fund operations
