Job summary

Tecan Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Field Automation Specialist in NSW to deliver top-tier technical support, install bench top solutions, and work with a global network of product experts. You will report to the Service & Consumables Manager and collaborate with Management, Sales, and Administration.

Ideal candidates have electronics/engineering background, 2+ years field service in medical tech, strong problem-solving, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Associate Diploma or higher in electronics or engineering discipline or similar.
• Minimum 2 years' experience providing field service in the medical technologies area (research, clinical diagnostic or analytical chemistry environment)
• Customer-centric approach with strong problem solving skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Ability to work accurately and autonomously
• Fluent English; oral and written skills are essential
• Previous experience with SAP is advantageous
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Respond to problems or complaints and coordinate support.
• Develop and maintain technical and product knowledge for pre- and post-sales support.
• Follow local OH&S regulations and report safety concerns.
• Perform administrative tasks and service reporting.
