Job summary

IREN, a NASDAQ-listed data centre business, seeks a Senior Risk & Compliance leader to own the enterprise risk framework across Australia, the US, Canada and Europe. You will design, uplift and run the risk program with governance, KRIs and board reporting in mind.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to embed risk controls and drive a proactive risk culture, leveraging AI tooling and GRC platforms to scale across the group.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise risk, operational risk, internal audit or governance roles.
• Experience designing, implementing and uplifting enterprise risk frameworks including risk taxonomy and KRIs.
• Exposure to listed-company governance requirements and multi-jurisdictional risk programs.
• Ability to build and scale risk registers and governance models.

Responsibilities

• Own and uplift the enterprise risk management framework across the group.
• Maintain risk taxonomy and group risk registers; run annual/half-year risk cycles.
• Embed risk ownership and issue management across first line; ensure remediation actions close.
• Oversee risk governance forums, reporting and board-level materials.
• Partner with executives to provide actionable risk insights for new markets and acquisitions.
