Job summary

CIMIC Group's corporate finance team in North Sydney is seeking a Financial Accountant to support month-end processes, reconciliations, reporting and financial control activities across a complex global organisation.

You will work with SAP and other financial systems, contribute to statutory reporting and governance, and benefit from a flexible hybrid working arrangement within a structured, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualification, or studying towards completion.
• Experience in corporate finance environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support timely and accurate execution of financial accounting activities, month-end close processes and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and review month-end journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly reporting submissions and reconciliations within OneStream.
• Support statutory financial reporting, tax reporting and compliance requirements.
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and validation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance reporting, controls and efficiency.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Support ad hoc projects and finance initiatives as required.
