FleishmanHillard Australia is seeking a Business Director for our Corporate Practice to lead smart, strategic work for global and Aussie brands, shaping reputations and managing issues through sharp storytelling and strong media connections.

You’ll oversee senior client relationships, mentor teams, and work with a collaborative TBWA/FleishmanHillard network to deliver campaigns that resonate with media and stakeholders across the corporate landscape.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in a PR agency or similar environment, with a focus on B2B and corporate communications.
• Passionate about the news media and deeply engaged with the corporate landscape, both locally and globally
• Bring confidence in managing senior clients and navigating complex stakeholder environments
• A proven track record in media relations and securing impactful coverage
• Demonstrate exceptional writing skills and attention to detail
• Thrive in a collaborative team culture and is ready to take the next step in their career

Responsibilities

• Lead retained accounts and campaign work for high-profile clients with complex corporate communications needs
• Develop and implement strategic communications plans that build and protect corporate reputation
• Cultivate strong media relationships across mainstream, business, and trade outlets
• Provide senior counsel to clients and manage stakeholder engagement
• Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their growth and development
