Job summary

Hewitt Foods Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a commercially minded Communications Manager to shape internal and external communications across Australia, the USA and beyond.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer within the Office of the CEO, you’ll work with executive leadership to influence how Hewitt positions itself on the global stage and to build its reputation through compelling corporate storytelling and media relations.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate communications, corporate affairs or public relations in a large organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field.
• Proven portfolio of high-quality corporate communications including media releases and executive messaging.
• Commercial mindset to align communications with business priorities and objectives.
• Executive and stakeholder engagement with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
• Media and reputation management with sound judgement and discretion.
• Digital and data capability to measure performance and draw insights.
• Industry experience in food, FMCG, agriculture, sustainability or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Hewitt's corporate communications strategy across international markets.
• Work with the Office of the CEO to craft speeches, announcements, thought leadership and strategic messaging.
• Build strong media relationships and identify opportunities to increase visibility and credibility.
• Shape internal communications for 1,000+ employees across markets, including culture and safety messaging.
• Tell Hewitt's growth story through content across corporate, digital and internal channels.
• Identify reputational risks and support senior leadership through sensitive communications challenges.
• Measure communications impact and use insights to improve reach and effectiveness.
