The Local Project, a dynamic publication and production company based in Sydney, seeks a Bookkeeper to manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and month-end close. You will work with Xero across AU and US entities, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with local regulations.

Key duties include AP/AR processing, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and coordinating month-end closes in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping roles.
• Familiarity with Xero or willingness to learn Xero.

Responsabilités

• Process supplier invoices and schedule payments in Xero.
• Maintain AP cashflow forecast and weekly payment summaries.
• Process and reconcile client invoices across AU and US entities.
• Coordinate reconciliation of card accounts with external provider.
