Job summary

The team of qualified technicians and auto glaziers provides reliable on-site glass replacement, wholesale machinery glass supply, custom-cut flat and shaped glass, laminated and toughened safety glass, polycarbonate glazing options, and commercial fleet support. MC Autoglass works with a wide range of equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, rollers, forklifts, skid steers, tractors, telehandlers, and other mining and civil machinery. Located in Acacia Ridge with support available for projects outside the immediate service area, offering applicants a varied and dynamic work environment.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Glazier role based in Brisbane, QLD. The Glazier will install and replace glass on civil, mining, and earthmoving machinery, including fitting flat and shaped glass and working with laminated, toughened, and polycarbonate glazing products. Day-to-day tasks include assessing damage, measuring and preparing glass, safely removing and refitting windows and panels, and ensuring work meets safety and quality standards. The role involves travelling to customer sites within the service region, collaborating with technicians and fleet managers, maintaining tools and equipment, and completing job documentation and basic reporting. The Glazier will also interact with customers on-site, providing clear communication about work performed, timeframes, and any follow-up requirements.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in window installation, repair, and adjustment for machinery applications.
• Strong glazing skills, including fitting, sealing, and finishing glass and polycarbonate panels.
• Hands-on experience with doors and related hardware, including safe removal, refitting, and alignment.
• Auto glass expertise, particularly with heavy equipment and machinery windscreens, side windows, and safety glass.
• Customer service skills to communicate professionally on-site, manage expectations, and represent the company positively.
• Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in glazing, automotive glass, or a closely related field preferred.
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices, including working with glass and on machinery sites.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations within the service area.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
