Lake Macquarie City Council in Speers Point NSW is looking for an experienced GIS and asset data professional to support the management of civil infrastructure assets through high-quality GIS and asset data services. The role sits in the Infrastructure Asset Management Team and covers data capture, integration and spatial representation across GIS and asset systems.

Formación

• Diploma or equivalent in GIS/Spatial Science or related field.
• Experience supporting civil infrastructure asset management through GIS (roads, drainage, footpaths).
• Experience capturing, validating and managing asset data from drawings, as-constructed plans and survey information.
• Experience integrating data across GIS and Asset Management systems with emphasis on data accuracy.
• Understanding asset lifecycle management and its link to capital expenditure and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Capture, maintain and update spatial and asset data for Council's civil infrastructure assets.
• Facilitate integration of asset data from capital works projects, validating as-constructed drawings and survey information.
• Develop and maintain GIS asset layers to ensure accurate spatial representation and alignment across systems.
• Provide GIS analysis, mapping and data support to inform infrastructure planning, maintenance and renewal programs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support effective asset data management and system integration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Council's asset data capability and GIS services.
