Job summary

Premier Soil Testing is seeking an experienced, autonomous Geotechnical Technician for immediate start in our growing medium size business. The role operates on-site with projects across the Greater Brisbane area and occasional Sunshine Coast/Gold Coast trips, based from North Lakes.

You will conduct on-site sampling, logging, and field testing, collect samples for lab analysis, and perform Level 1 site supervision with precise field data collection.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in geotechnical soil testing.
• Current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Valid Australian Open Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience navigating and traveling to various remote and metro sites.
• Physical fitness to handle outdoor field conditions and equipment lifting.
• Ability to clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders and maintain positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site materials sampling, logging, and field testing eg. Nuclear density, DCP, CBR sampling.
• Collect and transport material samples back to the laboratory
• Perform Level 1 site supervision and data collection
• Record highly accurate field data and site observations
• Liaise directly with site managers, project managers
