Job summary

CMW Geosciences in Perth seeks a Principal Geotechnical Engineer/Principal Engineering Geologist to lead site investigation projects across WA, delivering high-quality reports and technical leadership.

You will mentor junior engineers, interpret field data, coordinate with clients, and apply geotechnical software such as Plaxis, Rocscience, RSPile, Settle3 and Leapfrog.

Qualifications

• Qualified Geotechnical Engineer, Civil Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 15+ years' experience in geotechnical consulting.
• Experience in scoping, design and executing onshore and nearshore investigations.
• Ability to interpret field data, propose lab testing regimes and assess ground models.

Responsibilities

• Lead site investigation projects in Western Australia.
• Act as primary technical contact for Clients from proposal to delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and engineering geologists.
• Apply geotechnical software to produce high-quality interpretive reports.
