Job summary

Bellevue Gold Limited operates its Bellevue gold mine in Western Australia and seeks a Geotechnical Engineer to develop, maintain and advance geotechnical systems for safe, efficient, cost-effective mine planning.

The role involves on-site responsibilities on an 8/6 roster, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while supporting continuous improvement and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Geotechnical/Geological/Civil or Mining Engineering.
• Proven experience in the geotechnical aspects of underground hard rock mines.
• Experience with Map 3D, Rocscience, Unwedge, Vulcan or Surpac.
• Understanding of the mine planning process from short term to long term.
• Strong safety, quality and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and advance geotechnical systems and processes for robust mine plans.
• Ensure compliance with Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations.
• Monitor geotechnical hazards and conduct underground audits.
• Coordinate with site contractors to ensure ground support standards.
• Contribute to cost reductions and continuous improvement; mentor junior geotechnical engineers.
