Job summary

Klohn Crippen Berger (KCB) is seeking Geotechnical Engineers from junior to intermediate levels to join our Perth, Western Australia team. You will contribute to design, investigation, and construction for large-scale mining projects, including tailings and water management structures, while learning under mentors.

The role offers exposure to field investigations, desktop assessments, and geotechnical modelling with supported training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical) is required.
• 3–7 years’ experience in geotechnical or related roles is expected.
• Exposure to soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering is preferred.
• Familiarity with ANCOLD, ICOLD, GISTM, and CDA guidelines is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with geotechnical field investigations and construction monitoring for mine waste facilities and related infrastructure.
• Support field programs including drilling, testing, sampling, and field mapping.
• Contribute to desktop assessments by organizing and interpreting geological data.
• Learn and apply geotechnical analysis and modelling tools with provided training.
