Job summary
Aurecon in Queensland is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer / Geologist to join our Ground and Underground team. You’ll contribute to infrastructure and energy projects, working with a collaborative team to deliver practical solutions.
Required are a Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology degree and 2–3 years’ experience with site investigations; familiarity with PLAXIS, GeoStudio, Rocscience, OpenGround, or Leapfrog is advantageous; strong communication and teamwork is essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology.
- 2–3 years of geotechnical/geology experience; consulting preferred but not essential.
- Experience in site investigations; willingness to travel as required.
- Working knowledge of geotechnical software is beneficial.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and delivery of geotechnical site investigations per standards.
- Assist with geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting across projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project needs.
- Contribute to high-quality technical outputs and documentation.
- Support ongoing project delivery across infrastructure and energy programs.
