P&C Partners Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a capable team working on geospatial data processing and visualisation products. This is a leadership, delivery-focused role with ownership of delivery, people development and engineering practices.

You will mentor engineers, manage planning and milestones, remove blockers and collaborate with Tech Leads and Product Managers to balance timelines with quality and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience as Software Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager or Development Manager.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and mentoring experience.
• Solid technical foundations within software engineering.
• Experience leading Agile software delivery.
• Strong planning, delivery and organisational skills.
• Experience helping engineering teams establish and improve ways of working.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience within fast-growing or evolving organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of software engineers.
• Own team delivery, planning, resourcing and execution.
• Remove blockers and proactively manage delivery risks.
• Work closely with Tech Leads and Product Managers.
• Balance delivery timelines with quality and team wellbeing.
• Improve engineering processes and ways of working.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and future team growth.
