Job summary

The NSW State Emergency Service is seeking a GIS specialist to design and deliver innovative GIS solutions, including maps, dashboards and field collection tools, to support staff and volunteers in planning and operational response.

You will apply ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro and VertiGIS Studio for spatial analysis, data visualisation and portal administration, contributing to critical flood data management and operational intelligence within the Emergency Management Directorate.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in GIS/spatial information.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro and VertiGIS Studio.
• Experience with GIS administration, ArcGIS portal administration, and advanced spatial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver GIS solutions, including maps, dashboards and field tools.
• Support administration of the NSW Flood Data Portal and flood data management services.
• Support AIIMS Mapping Officer role in Operational response.
