Job summary

Kinetic Logging Services Pty Ltd (KLS), an Epiroc entity, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our production and equipment refurbishment activities in Australia. You will supervise a small technical team while hands-on in delivery, maintenance, commissioning and troubleshooting of specialised geophysical equipment.

Working with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Business Development, you will coordinate production, manage resources and suppliers, and ensure projects

Qualifications

• Trade or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience in equipment assembly, production, maintenance or refurbishment.
• Experience leading a small technical or production team.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills with ability to manage priorities.
• Experience coordinating suppliers, vendors and procurement activities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience with CAD systems and ERP/PLM databases is highly regarded.
• Practical mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting capability.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the production team, allocate work, set priorities and maintain safety, quality and productivity.
• Oversee production and refurbishment projects from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate HyLogger equipment maintenance, upgrades and refurbishment with clients.
• Remain hands-on in commissioning, maintenance, fault-finding and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical gear.
• Support design-for-manufacture initiatives to improve build methods and reliability.
• Plan production workflows, resources and project requirements to meet priorities and schedules.
• Manage suppliers, vendors, procurement activities and external services as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Business Development to resolve issues.
• Ensure all production activities, documentation and equipment meet safety, quality and technical standards.
