Job summary

Genesis Mining Services is seeking a highly motivated Mining Supervisor – Open Pit to join our growing WA operation. FIFO from Perth to Leonora with a 15/13 roster, new fleet oversight and a focus on safety, leadership and team development.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in open pit mining or quarrying, a C-class manual licence, and a S26 Supervisor Certificate, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Competitive remuneration including bonuses is offered.

Qualifications

• Current C Class Driver's Licence (manual).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in open pit mining or quarrying.
• Supervisor S26 Certificate.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day mine activities and supervise personnel.
• Lead safety and operational performance in open pit operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance, geology and production teams.
• Contribute to the development of the Open Pit plan and execution.
• Mentor and develop junior supervisors and crew.
