Job summary

Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd is seeking a hands-on Surface Production Dozer Operator for the St Ives Gold Mine in Western Australia. The role involves shaping pits, dumps and stockpiles, operating Komatsu dozers, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

The position offers a 4 days on/4 nights roster with a residential arrangement in Kambalda/Kalgoorlie, plus a site allowance, a quarterly bonus up to 10%, and relocation support for eligible candidates. Permanent role preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating dozers in a surface mining environment.
• Current manual driver’s licence; HR license preferred.
• Experience on Komatsu track and wheel dozers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shape and maintain dumps, stockpiles, and working areas to meet design and production requirements.
• Operate dozers safely with high housekeeping standards.
• Complete pre-starts, inspections, and support preventative maintenance.

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will play a key part in surface production, operating dozers to shape pits, dumps, and stockpiles while working safely and efficiently as part of our Surface Mining team at our owner-operated St Ives Gold Mine.

Up to six months’ free, company-provided accommodation may be available for eligible candidates from under-represented groups (for example, women in mining and Indigenous Australians) relocating to Kambalda for permanent roles. Accommodation includes basic furnishings and utilities and is subject to availability and housing policy, with support available to assist with transitioning to a lease after the initial six-month period. Eligibility and final terms will be discussed during the recruitment process.
