Job summary

Evolution Mining invites a Geologist – Resource Definition to join Cowal Gold Operations, helping uncover and define mineral resource through near-mine exploration, resource-definition drilling, geological interpretation and data management. Working an 8:6 residential roster with 12-hour day shifts, you’ll contribute to resource growth and long-term planning.

Reporting to the Senior Project Geologist, you’ll deliver quality data, support drilling programs, maintain databases, and help build 3D

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Geology or Geosciences.
• At least 2 year's experience in an operating mine or active resource stage exploration environment.
• Experience supporting or managing drilling programs, preferably involving diamond drilling.
• Strong geological logging and interpretation skills across lithology, structure, alteration and mineralisation.
• Experience with geological data collection, validation and QAQC processes.
• Proficiency with geological logging and 3D modelling software such as Leapfrog, DataShed or LogChief.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical teams.

As our Geologist – Resource Definition, you'll help uncover and define the next stages of Cowal's mineral resource through near mine exploration, resource definition drilling, geological interpretation and data management.

Working an 8:6 residential roster with 12 hour day shifts, you'll enjoy the balance of extended time at home while remaining connected to a major mining operation. You'll join a collaborative geology team playing a key role in advancing resource definition programs that support Cowal's continued growth and future mining opportunities.
