Qualifications

• Experience in designing software to meet defined requirements by following design standards.
• Ability to translate concepts into designs for software construction.
• Experience developing prototypes/simulations to support decision making.
• Comfort with adaptive (iterative) or plan-driven development approaches.
• Experience in specifying and designing large or complex software components.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and components using approved languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with project managers, product owners, business analysts and engineers on design, planning, and delivery.
• Refactor code and fix defects to improve quality and performance.
• Ensure applications meet security, performance, and scalability requirements.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes and root-cause analysis.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for systems and development processes.
