Job summary
Pinaka Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Geospatial Systems & Software Specialist Engineer for a long-term Defence Intelligence engagement in Canberra. The role involves systems engineering, software development and geospatial capability integration to support Defence, the Australian Defence Force and National Intelligence Community.
The position requires Australian citizenship and a current PV or TS-PA clearance, is based onsite at Brindabella Business Park, Majura ACT, and offers
Qualifications
- Engineering qualifications and/or professional membership required.
- Experience delivering projects within Defence.
- Experience in systems engineering, software engineering or complex technology integration.
- Experience with geospatial systems or related intelligence capabilities.
- Australian Citizenship and current PV or TS-PA clearance mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review and assess geospatial system architectures and software concepts.
- Develop capability integration approaches.
- Evaluate architectural options and implementation approaches.
- Identify risks with new capabilities and system enhancements.
- Define interoperability requirements across Defence and government environments.
- Contribute to space, AI, automation and data exploitation activities.
- Provide systems and software engineering advice.
- Prepare technical assessments, reports and briefs.
- Engage with technical specialists and Defence stakeholders.
