Job summary

Umbrella Club seeks an experienced AI / Agentic AI Engineer to shape next-generation Generative AI and intelligent automation solutions in Sydney. You will design AI agents, build copilots and automation, and integrate enterprise data via APIs and MCP using modern AI frameworks.

The role emphasizes hands-on development with LLMs, RAG architectures, and cloud-native AWS infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing AI agents, multi-agent systems, agent orchestration, and workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience with MCP and REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks and function calling.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks and LLMs from various providers.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents and multi-agent workflows.
• Build AI copilots, assistants, and automation solutions.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications via APIs and cloud services.
• Develop RAG and knowledge-based AI solutions.
• Collaborate with business and tech teams to deliver practical AI use cases.
• Ensure security, governance, reliability, and operational controls.
