Job summary

AIRWAY is seeking motivated warehouse staff for peak-season operations at our Melbourne air cargo facilities. This hands-on role involves loading, unloading cargo from pallets, yard duties and ensuring safe operations in a fast-paced environment.

We offer immediate start with consistent hours during peak season, on-the-job training, and a potential permanent position depending on performance and operational needs; employment is subject to a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and police check.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience working in a warehouse or airside facility environment (preferred).
• Be physically fit and capable of manual lifting, up to 20kgs.
• Be reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
• Have good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Current Driver's Licence.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Multiple positions available, apply today!

You will be joining us during our peak season, as such your day will involve a wide variety of warehouse and yard duties to ensure smooth and safe operations & cargo handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading cargo from pallets
• Manual lifting and handling of freight
• General warehouse and yard maintenance to ensure a safe work environment
• Assistance with basic documentation and admin as required
• Supporting the warehouse team with ad-hoc operational tasks

Hours of Work

During peak season (Late August to April), a range of shifts are available across morning, afternoon, and night, with plenty of hours on offer.

Working hours, availability, and individual preferences will be discussed during the screening process to ensure alignment with operational needs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:
