Job summary

Airway Logistics is hiring multiple Casual Freight Coordinators to join the Brisbane Airport team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The roles offer flexible casual hours, a safety-focused culture, and on-site parking, with full training provided and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence and an unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload large volumes of cargo.
• Operate forklift and drive airside cargo vehicles.
• Adhere to OH&S requirements and airside compliance.
• Perform general warehouse duties and processing documentation.

The Role

Basic Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading large volumes of cargo
• Forklift operation and airside cargo driving
• Adhering to OH&S requirements & strict airside compliance
• General warehouse duties
• Processing documentation & other admin duties

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or airside role is highly regarded
• At least 12 months forklift experience preferred
• Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic
• Confidence stacking heavy loads
• Strong focus on safety

This role involves regular manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy items. Candidates must be able to safely perform these inherent requirements of the position.

Required Licences:

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence without restrictions and own transport

Working Hours

This is a casual position offering flexible hours across a rotating roster spanning 24 hours, 7 days, with multiple roles available. Shifts can vary and may include early mornings, late finishes, weekends, and different start and finish times.

Short notice availability across all days of the week is essential to support operational needs.
