Carnarvon is seeking a General Service Officer to deliver a broad range of public works and facility services across the Shire region. The role involves waste facility duties, road maintenance, horticultural upkeep and operating plant equipment.

Starting salary is AUD 63,748.89 per year, with housing and district allowances where eligible, plus superannuation. WHS compliance and safe operation of equipment are essential, with pre-employment screening required.

Formación

• Must comply with WHS policies and safe work practices.
• Experience in waste facility operations or civil labour is desirable.
• MR/HR Licence or ability to obtain; operator tickets for earthmoving equipment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and deliver general services across Browns Range Waste Facility and road/park maintenance.
• Ensure safety, compliance with Local Government Act and WHS requirements.
• Provide accurate financial transactions and customer service at facilities.
• Operate heavy and light plant equipment as required and support teams across Shire locations.
