Gunnedah Shire Council invites applications for an Operations Supervisor Waste Services. You will lead the Waste Services team, oversee the landfill, transfer and recycling centres, and ensure EPA licence compliance while implementing WHS standards.

Reporting to the Manager Waste, you will manage budgets, prepare reports, and drive initiatives to improve recycling and reduce waste across the Shire. This role offers a 9-day fortnight and a clear pathway to advanced local-government leadership.

Formación

• Experience leading a team in waste management or similar heavy-industry setting.
• Ability to manage plant operations and assess operational capability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data reporting.
• Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence is required for ongoing employment.
