Opal HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Catering Officer at Rutherford Park Care Community in Rutherford, NSW. This permanent part-time position focuses on delivering nutritious meals and a positive dining experience for residents.

Join a caring team with afternoon shifts, weekend/public holiday penalties, and a 12% superannuation offer. Prior hospitality experience is helpful, and training is provided to the right candidate.

Responsabilités

• Assist with meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals and refreshments to residents.
• Set up and clear dining areas.
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Follow food safety and infection control procedures.
• Work with chefs, kitchen staff and care teams.
• Support residents with a positive dining experience.
• Follow safety and sanitary protocols in all tasks.

What You'll Do:

• Assisting with meal preparation and presentation
• Serving meals and refreshments to resident
• Setting up and clearing dining area
• Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
• Following food safety and infection control procedure
• Working collaboratively with chefs, kitchen staff, and care teams
• Work as a key part of a supportive team to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all residents.
• Follow strict safety, sanitary, and infection control protocols in all tasks.

What You'll Need:

• A passion for helping people and making a difference in your community
• A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to learn across different areas of hospitality.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.

Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or customer service is beneficial, but not essential – we will train the right person!
