Health Workforce Queensland is recruiting a General Practitioner to support an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in Queensland. The role focuses on assessment and treatment within the Model of Care to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.

You will mentor GP Registrars and students, contributing to their professional development while ensuring optimal Medicare and incentive payments.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration required.
• Vocationally registered General Practitioner or AGPT registrar.
• Open to applicants with authority to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat Clients focusing on holistic health and wellbeing.
• Mentor GP Registrars or medical students as endorsed by training body.
• Maximise Medicare claiming and PIP/SIP incentive payments.
