Job summary

Health Workforce Queensland is recruiting a permanent, full-time GP for an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation serving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in regional Queensland. The role focuses on holistic, culturally safe primary care within a multidisciplinary team and supports GP registrars toward Fellowship.

The successful candidate will be registered with AHPRA or be an AGPT registrar, and hold work authority in Australia, with a salary band of AUD

Qualifications

• This position requires current AHPRA registration.
• Vocationally registered General Practitioner or AGPT registrar status.
• Possess valid authority to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat clients in line with the organisation's model of care.
• Mentor and educate clinical team including GP Registrars or Students where endorsed by training body.
• Maximise Medicare claiming and PIP/SIP incentive payments.
