Job summary

Health Workforce on the Gold Coast is seeking a motivated General Practitioner to provide culturally safe care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Two full-time positions are available at Miami and Bilinga clinics, with defined hours and admin time.

Applicants should hold Vocational Registration and Unconditional AHPRA registration, and demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Essentials: Vocational Registration and Unconditional AHPRA registration.
• Strong communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
• Ability to problem solve and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously and adhere to Aboriginal Community Control principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, culturally safe health care to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander clients.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Optimise referral pathways to specialists and allied health services.
• Liaise with Nurse and Aboriginal Health Worker to ensure seamless patient experience.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and service development.
