Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Proven people leadership and cross-functional project delivery.
• Experience with ERP systems (BPCS, SAP) and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead DMAIC/Kaizen projects across production lines and manage OEE, yield and cost targets.
• Develop and mentor CI champions at each site and coach frontline teams.
• Identify and quantify improvement opportunities; present business cases to leadership.
• Coordinate CI across Tahmoor and Ingleburn ensuring consistent methods.
• Engage stakeholders from Production, Engineering, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Embed best practice and build CI capability across sites.

We're looking for a driven CI/ Process Improvement Lead to transform operations across our two processing facilities. You'll lead continuous improvement initiatives, build high‑performing CI teams, and deliver measurable cost and quality wins across Ingleburn and Tahmoor.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll facilitate kaizen workshops, mentor CI Champions, coach site teams and own the delivery of measurable improvement projects. You’ll work in fast‑paced manufacturing environments (poultry processing) where every improvement counts. The successful candidate will combine deep manufacturing experience with genuine people leadership skills.

What you’ll do:

• Drive Continuous Improvement - you will lead DMAIC/Kaizen projects across production lines; manage OEE, yield and cost targets; own CI workstreams for the Finding 8 Initiatives program
• Lead & develop people - you will build and mentor CI champions at each site; coach frontline teams and supervisors; facilitate structured problem‑solving workshops; model Lean Six Sigma mindset
• Deliver measurable results - you will identify and quantify improvement opportunities; track savings (labour, material, scrap, energy); present business cases to leadership; sustain gains through standard work
• Operate across two sites - you will coordinate improvements across Tahmoor and Ingleburn and ensure consistency in CI culture and methods
• Engage stakeholders - you will work with Production, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain; communicate progress; build buy‑in for changes
• Embed best practice - you will develop site CI capability; build local CI competency; share learnings across the Further Processing networ

What you’ll bring:

• Manufacturing operations experience (production planning, line management, technical roles, or quality background)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or willingness to obtain one; demonstrated continuous improvement experience
• Proven people leadership: managed or mentored teams; facilitated cross‑functional projects
• Strong problem‑solving mindset: comfort with data analysis, root cause, and systematic approaches
• Excellent communication: can explain complex improvements to frontline teams and executives alike
• Kaizen/VSM facilitation background preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (BPCS, SAP, or similar)
