Job summary

JRM Hospitality is seeking a General Manager - Food & Beverage for a luxury five-star hotel in Sydney. You will oversee the entire F&B operation, including restaurant, bar & lounge, room service, conferences, weddings and private events, reporting to senior leadership and working with the Executive Chef.

The role emphasizes people development, mentoring future leaders and creating a culture where staff and guests thrive, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading premium food & beverage operations within luxury hotels or high-end venues.
• Proven ability to develop people, mentor leaders and build a strong team culture.
• Strong leadership, collaboration with kitchen and operations teams, and focus on guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all food & beverage operations across multiple outlets (restaurant, bar, lounge, events).
• Develop and mentor Restaurant Managers and department leaders.
• Drive a positive, high-performing team culture and cross-training.
• Partner with Executive Chef and senior leadership to achieve business objectives.
• Oversee financial performance, labor control and operational efficiency.
• Deliver luxury guest experiences and uphold service standards.

General Manager - Food & Beverage – Luxury Five-Star Hotel | Sydney

An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced hospitality leader to oversee the entire food and beverage operation within one of Sydney's most prestigious luxury hotels.

This role is responsible for leading all food and beverage services across the hotel, including the restaurant, bar & lounge, room service, conferences, weddings and private events.

Working alongside the Executive Chef and reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll lead a team of experienced managers while driving operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences and, most importantly, a positive and engaged team culture.

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, mentoring future leaders and creating an environment where both staff and guests thrive.
