Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a values-led General Manager for Killarney Vale Care Community on NSW’s Central Coast. You’ll partner with clinical leaders to foster a warm, home-like environment where residents feel safe and truly at home.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive care quality, financial performance and compliance, and build trusted relationships with residents, families and the local community while living Opal’s CARE values in every decision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in a regulated, service-led environment.
• Strong ability to inspire and develop teams and foster a high-performing culture.
• Commercial acumen with a commitment to quality care and resident outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills and hands-on leadership style.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks, standards, and risk management.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in a highly regulated, service-led environment (e.g. aged care, health, community services or similar sectors)
• Strong ability to inspire and develop teams, fostering an engaged, high-performing culture
• Commercial acumen with strong financial capability and a commitment to quality care
• Highly effective communication skills with a visible, hands‑on leadership style
• Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks, quality standards and risk management
• AHPRA registration (highly regarded), or relevant qualifications/experience in a related field
