Job summary

The Jet Co is seeking a General Manager to lead field services and operations in Sydney, overseeing field technicians, admin staff and a growing sales function. You will drive day-to-day performance, implement scalable systems and manage key client relationships to enable the company’s next growth phase.

Reporting to ownership, you will recruit, onboard and mentor staff, monitor KPIs and budgets, and maintain high safety and service standards while delivering profitable project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Taking overall responsibility for day-to-day business operations.
• Leading and managing field technicians and administration staff.
• Recruiting, onboarding and managing a dedicated sales professional.
• Developing and monitoring sales targets and KPIs.
• Overseeing scheduling, workforce allocation and vehicle utilisation.
• Ensuring jobs are delivered efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
• Managing larger commercial projects and key client requirements.
• Resolving operational issues, escalations and staff matters.
• Monitoring labour costs, job profitability and operating expenditure.
• Improving systems and standard operating procedures.
• Overseeing fleet, equipment, maintenance and resources.
• Establishing accountability and performance standards.
• Providing weekly reporting on operational, sales and financial performance.
• Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, productivity and customer experience.
