Investa invites applications for a commercially minded General Manager to lead the Real Estate Operations team. You will drive performance, strategy, and operational excellence of premium commercial assets, leading a high-performing property management group to deliver strong financial outcomes and exceptional customer experiences.

This 6‑month contract role focuses on governance, sustainability, and stakeholder collaboration to maximise asset value and long-term growth for Investa’s funds.

We’re looking for a commercially minded General Manager to join our Real Estate Operations team. This is role will see you be responsible for driving the performance, strategy and operational excellence of a premium commercial asset(s). You will lead a high-performing property management team to deliver strong financial outcomes, exceptional customer experiences and sustainable asset performance across the funds. This position is a 6 month contract.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing property management team, driving accountability, capability and a strong customer-centric culture
• Deliver portfolio financial performance in line with Strategic Asset Plans, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L oversight and 10-year cashflow management
• Develop and execute effective leasing and tenant retention strategies to optimise occupancy, income growth and long-term asset value
• Oversee capital expenditure planning and project delivery in line with approved budgets and lifecycle strategies
• Partner closely with Asset Managers to implement asset strategy, provide market intelligence and support capital transactions (acquisitions/disposals)
• Ensure strong governance, compliance and risk management across WHS&E, sustainability and regulatory frameworks
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with tenants, funds teams, agents, valuers and service partners
• Champion ESG and sustainability outcomes across the portfolio, reinforcing Investa’s reputation as a property manager of choice

What you bring:

• Significant leadership experience within commercial property or portfolio management
• Deep understanding of leasing strategy, capital planning and asset lifecycle management
• Strong commercial acumen with advanced financial modelling capability
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at senior levels
