Job summary

Action Lines, Signs & Civil in Canberra is seeking motivated General Labourers to join the expanding team. You will assist with road line marking, signage installation, civil works, and on‑site preparation while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s licence (HR licence and Traffic Control Tickets are highly desirable), a solid work ethic, and the ability to work outdoors in varied shifts. Training will be provided for the right people.

Responsibilities

Action Lines, Signs & Civil (Action LSC) is looking for motivated, reliable and hardworking General Labourers to join our growing Canberra team.

We specialise in road line marking, signage installation, road maintenance and civil works, delivering projects across the ACT and surrounding NSW regions.

Whether you're an experienced labourer or looking to get started in the industry, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Role

Working alongside our experienced crews, you'll be involved in a variety of projects, including:

Assisting with road line marking and pavement marking works

Installation and maintenance of road signs and road furniture

General civil construction and maintenance activities

Preparing work sites, equipment and materials

Loading and unloading vehicles and equipment

Assisting with traffic management and site safety

Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

A current driver's licence (essential)

HR drivers licence (Highly Desirable)

Traffic Control Tickets (Highly Desirable)

A strong work ethic and reliable attitude

The ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work

A commitment to workplace health and safety

The flexibility to work day and night shifts when required

The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Previous experience in line marking, road maintenance, civil construction or signage installation is highly regarded but not essential. Training can be provided to the right candidates.
