Job summary

S&A Stairs, a family-owned Australian stair builder, seeks a General Labourer for their Molendinar workshop. You will handle timber cutting, tool usage and site deliveries across the Gold Coast, supporting CNC prep and general carpentry tasks.

Ideal candidates have labouring experience and a valid Australian driver’s licence, with preference for those from building or timber backgrounds. This is a hands-on role with growth opportunities in a close-knit team.

About the role:

Our Queensland branch, located in Molendinar, is currently seeking a General Labourer to support the smooth operation of our workshop.

What's involved -

• Working with hand and power tools, as well as wood machinery to cut timber in preparation for CNC machining.
• Checking job plans and cutting lists to determine each job's requirements.
• Cleaning machines and work areas daily.
• Delivery of stair components to job sites across the Gold Coast (using a company vehicle).
• Performing general carpentry and labouring tasks around the factory.

We're looking for:

• Australian drivers licence (essential)
• Labouring experience (preferred)
• Building or timber industry experience (preferred)
