Job summary

Narangba Express Pallets, part of the Hyne Group, is seeking General Hands to assemble timber pallets and operate related machinery in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment in Narangba, Queensland. You will contribute to high-quality pallets supporting national supply chains.

We value hands-on learners, reliability, and teamwork; training is provided, and shifts are rotating with a Monday–Thursday schedule. Competitive wages and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be eager to learn and willing to work hands-on.
• Experience in manufacturing, general labouring, or similar hands-on roles is preferred.
• Willingness to be trained in safe operation of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently to meet daily production goals.
• Ensure all pallets meet quality and durability standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain safe operation.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in the area of responsibility.

We are seeking dedicated General Hands to join our expanding team. Whether you have general labour experience, have assembled pallets by hand, or operated automated machinery, this is your opportunity to be part of a business that keeps Australia moving, one high-quality timber pallet at a time.

In this role, you will do more than just assemble timber, you will play a critical part in producing high-quality, durable pallets that support supply chains across the country. You will thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment where your attention to detail, safety-first mindset, and commitment to quality are truly valued.

• All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production.
• Your skills are cross functional, and you are multi skilled.
• Our internal customers’ needs are met each and every time.
• Operate pallet manufacturing machinery (e.g., saws, nail guns, automated assembly lines) safely and efficiently to meet daily production goals.
• Ensure all pallets produced meet company standards for quality and durability.
• Troubleshoot any problems with the facility’s equipment and instruments to maintain safe operation.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping throughout the area of responsibility using proactive practices.

Shift Details

• Monday – Thursday– 2:30pm – 12.00am

About you

• You are eager to learn new skills and get stuck into practical hands-on work.
• You may have prior experience in manufacturing, general labouring, or other hands‑on work.
• You are comfortable using tools or machinery, or ready to be trained in their safe use.
• You are reliable, hardworking, and take pride in producing quality work.
• You are flexible with shifts and can work across rotating rosters if required.
• You have reliable transport and a driver’s license.
• You work well in a team but can also stay motivated when working on your own.
