Job summary

Mobile Fleet Service in Sydney seeks a reliable General Hand to join our busy Silverwater workshop. You will support daily workshop operations and help prepare and deliver vehicles and parts.

This role offers full-time, permanent employment with overtime opportunities and on-the-job training. Previous automotive or workshop experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided to the right person. A Medium/Heavy Rigid licence would be highly regarded but is not essential.

• Assisting technicians with general workshop tasks
• Picking up and delivering customer vehicles
• Collecting and delivering automotive parts
• Providing courtesy shuttle transport for customers
• Cleaning and preparing vehicles for delivery
• Assisting with general workshop and yard duties as required

Established in 1992, Mobile Fleet Service is a well-established Sydney fleet maintenance company, providing servicing and repairs to corporate, government and commercial fleets.

We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated and hands-on General Hand to join our busy Silverwater workshop.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, support daily workshop operations and play an important part in delivering quality service to our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop

• Assisting technicians with general workshop tasks

• Picking up and delivering customer vehicles

• Collecting and delivering automotive parts

• Providing courtesy shuttle transport for customers

• Cleaning and preparing vehicles for delivery

• Assisting with general workshop and yard duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence

• A safe driving record

• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
