E-Plas is seeking a General Hand in Melbourne to perform deburring and final cleaning of plastic parts, and to assist with packing finished goods for dispatch. You will learn the nuances of plastic materials and work under the Production Supervisor, with opportunities for training and skill development.

Ideal candidates have stores/warehouse or manufacturing experience, good English communication, and are reliable, physically fit, and able to follow procedures.

About the Job: General Hand

E-Plas Manufacturing Department makes a great variety of parts using CNC Routers and other machinery from plastic sheets and rods like star wheels, guides and gears for many industries including food and beverage, infrastructure, mining and medical.

Your daily duties will include deburring and final cleaning preparation of plastic parts using basic hand tools and preparing goods for despatch once suitably trained. Our team will assist you as you learn the nuances of plastic materials.

You will also be expected to carry out general cleaning of the manufacturing area and assist our machinists with basic tasks as required.

You will report to the Production Supervisor.
