Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is partnering with a Federal Government entity to recruit a General Finance Officer in Canberra. The role focuses on maintaining sound financial administration and delivering accurate information to support project delivery and governance.

Key duties include month-end/year-end activities, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysing expenditure trends within education and training portfolios, with a requirement for proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial administration, budgeting, reporting, reconciliations and procurement support.
• Experience working in an education and training portfolio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
