Munro Footwear Group (MFG) in Melbourne is seeking a General Accountant to join the Finance team. You will ensure timely month-end close, maintain GL reconciliations and prepare financial statements, working with stakeholders to uphold compliant reporting.

The role is a 4-day in-office hybrid position (Mon & Fri in office, 1 day from home) with a salary of AU$80,000–AU$90,000 plus super.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Tertiary qualification in accounting with CA or CPA accreditation.
• Strong financial accounting experience including month-end close and GL reconciliations.
• Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and statutory reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP systems experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• High accuracy, attention to detail and proactive organization.
• Ability to communicate well with stakeholders and manage priorities.
• Experience in retail/FMCG or multi-site environments is valued.
