WEG Australia seeks a Technical Sales Engineer – Gearboxes in Sydney to combine mechanical engineering expertise with customer-focused sales. You’ll analyse customer needs, select gearbox and power transmission solutions, and prepare technical proposals for industrial clients across NSW.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Gearboxes, Geared Motors, Power Transmission Equipment and Industrial Mechanical Systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and industry standards.
• Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• A proactive and results-focused approach.
• Experience delivering technical presentations and training.

Responsabilidades

• Build strong customer relationships with OEMs, engineering consultants and distributors.
• Engineer the right gearbox and power transmission solutions for customer applications.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations tailored to projects.
• Get out in the field with NSW customers to assess applications and provide technical support.
• Share expertise via technical presentations and product trainings.
• Grow the business by identifying opportunities within the NSW market.
