Job summary

Hitachi Construction Machinery in VIC, Australia, is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, repair and commission industrial gearboxes and related systems. You will travel to sites, troubleshoot root causes and provide technical guidance to customers.

Qualifications

• Mechanical fitter with industry knowledge and field service experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair and commissioning of industrial gearboxes, power transmission equipment and related systems.
• Establish root causes, troubleshoot and provide technical guidance to customers.
• Frequent travel/site work and collaboration with customers and teams.
• Read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment; ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Independently manage workload with a results-driven attitude; work in a team environment.
