Job summary

IT Alliance Australia is assisting a Federal Government client by sourcing a Gateway Infrastructure Engineer for Canberra and Adelaide. The role concentrates on secure, scalable infrastructure design and deployment to meet government standards and Essential Eight guidance.

You will work with Palo Alto firewalls, IPS, NetScaler and related proxy/load balancing, VPN and Infoblox DNS, and you will design hybrid and public cloud integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and IPS solutions.
• Designing services using NetScaler, proxy/load balancing, and related tools.
• Experience with VPN technologies and Infoblox DNS.
• Designing hybrid and public cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of ASD ISM and Essential Eight policies.

Job description

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Gateway Infrastructure Engineer in Canberra and Adelaide.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with and/or detailed understanding of Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions.
• Technical proficiency in the design of services utilising F5/Blue Coat/ Citrix NetScaler/ Broadcom SWG Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of virtual private network (VPN) technologies, email and DNS (Infoblox) Solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and integration of hybrid and public cloud services.
• Demonstrated experience with or knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight.
